Scaler EQ Pro is Scaler Music's note-aware equaliser, rebuilt and made playable. It keeps the Harmonic Peak filtering, covered by U.S. Patent No. 12,647,085, which boosts frequencies belonging to notes in the song key or reduces the ones that fall outside it. The rebuild adds Magic Shelf, a shelf that also manages stereo information, plus an all-new filter engine, dynamic EQ on every band, dedicated bass and high-frequency compression, and a MIDI-controlled Live Mode. The current first look is Pad Works DAMP.
Live Mode is polyphonic. Velocity sets the strength of a played note, and an ADSR shapes the band over time. Processing is minimum-phase and zero latency, so it can sit on a tracking insert as well as a master. macOS gets VST3, AU, AAX, and a standalone app on macOS 12 or later. Windows gets VST3, AAX, and standalone on Windows 10 or later. There is no VST2 build.
