Affiliate Disclosure
How commissions support Dubspot, how links are marked, and why money never changes a score or verdict.
Dubspot is reader-supported. Some links to plugins, sample packs, and gear are affiliate links: if you click through and buy, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it helps fund the testing and writing behind our reviews and guides.
What money can never buy
A commission never changes a verdict. Our reviews, scores, and recommendations are made independently of any affiliate relationship. We recommend the same products to a friend whether or not a retailer pays us. If a product is mediocre, we say so — the affiliate link still points at it, and our opinion still stands.
How we tag links
Affiliate links carry our partner id and are marked rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". On any page that contains them — an article, a translation, a plugin page, a comparison, or a deals page — a short disclosure appears with the links, before the recommendations.
Retailers we work with
- Plugin Boutique, Loopcloud, Loopmasters, and Beatport (Beatport Group)
- Thomann
- Best Service
Plugin Boutique is the default shop when it sells the product. Best Service is the fallback for products Plugin Boutique does not carry. Thomann is the shop for instruments and studio hardware. A commission never changes the price you pay.
