Audiomodern Riffer 4 is a generative MIDI sequencer, released in October 2026, that writes riffs you can keep, edit or regenerate. Version 4 rebuilds the plugin around five generation engines, each aimed at a different musical result, from hooks and basslines to arpeggios and guitar-style patterns.
It works in any key and scale, lets you shape note range, density, timing and feel, and allows direct editing of individual notes before you export the MIDI to any DAW. It runs as VST3, AU, AAX and standalone on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.14 or later, with native Apple Silicon support, plus an AUv3 and standalone build for iPad.
