Where ANA 2 genuinely excels is speed of results. The Chord Memory Device is its signature trick, letting you play full chords and progressions from single keys and reshape them on the fly. As a wavetable synth it is capable rather than class-leading; Serum 2 and the free Vital both offer deeper wavetable editing and slicker visual feedback. Sound quality is good but not boutique-tier, and the $112.78 price sits in a crowded bracket where Vital costs nothing and Serum sets the standard.

Legend HZ, Mini V, and Prophet-5 V are faithful vintage emulations built to nail one specific analog character, whereas ANA 2 is a modern all-rounder.
