A good bundle is the cheapest way to fill a studio, and Black Friday is when the big ones drop furthest. A bad bundle is fifty plugins you never open. This guide covers the seven bundles most worth considering for Black Friday 2026, what each one is actually good at, and where each falls short, so you can decide which one to wait for.
Prices below were read from Plugin Boutique and Best Service on 23 October 2026, in US dollars. Black Friday is on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November, and most of these bundles are at full price today. Where we have last year's Black Friday price, we give it as a guide, not a promise. Live offers will appear on our Black Friday 2026 hub and the plugin bundles Black Friday page as they go live.

1. Native Instruments Komplete 26: best all-round bundle
Komplete is the closest thing to a complete studio in one purchase. Komplete 26 Standard includes Kontakt 8, Massive X, Guitar Rig 7 Pro, Absynth 6, Reaktor 6, Massive, FM8, Monark, the Session and Play series, the iZotope Elements versions of Ozone 12, Neutron 5 and Nectar 4, and more than 70 Expansion sound packs: over 80 instruments and effects in total. Ultimate raises that to more than 150 products and 100 Expansions, adding libraries such as LCO Producer Strings, Cremona Quartet Ensemble, the Claire grand piano and Session Bassist Jam Bass. Our Komplete 26 review covers the new additions in depth.
Weaknesses: the size. A complete Standard install is 320 GB, Ultimate 960 GB and Collector's Edition 1.6 TB. The iZotope tools are the Elements editions, not the full versions, so a mixing engineer will still want dedicated plugins. Native Access 2 is required to install and update everything.
Price: Komplete 26 Standard is $549 at Plugin Boutique, Ultimate $1,249 at Plugin Boutique and Collector's Edition $1,949 at Plugin Boutique. Best Service lists Standard at $518.27 and Ultimate at $1,179.10. Price-timing note: last Black Friday, Komplete 15 Collector's Edition sold at 50 percent off and a Komplete Select bundle went for $49. If you want Komplete this year, waiting for late November is the safer bet. More on our Native Instruments Black Friday page.
2. Arturia V Collection 11 Pro: best for vintage synths
V Collection 11 Pro is 45 instruments: analog synth recreations such as Mini V, Jup-8 V, CS-80 V and Prophet-5 V, digital classics including DX7 V and Synclavier V, plus pianos, organs, string machines, Augmented acoustic instruments and Analog Lab Pro to browse them all. Version 11 added seven instruments, including Jup-8000 V, SEM V, MiniBrute V, Synthx V, Pure LoFi, Augmented MALLETS and Augmented YANGTZE. Each synth is a full recreation you can program from the oscillators up. Our best synth VST plugins guide compares it with Pigments, Diva and Omnisphere.
Weaknesses: it is a synth and keys collection, so it does nothing for mixing. $699 is a lot if you only want two or three instruments, Pigments is not included, and Windows on ARM is not supported. It needs 32 GB of free disk space.
Price: $699 at Plugin Boutique. Price-timing note: last Black Friday Plugin Boutique sold V Collection 11 Pro at $399, 50 percent off. Of all seven bundles here, this is the clearest case for waiting. See our Arturia Black Friday page.
3. FabFilter Essentials and Total: best mixing bundles
FabFilter makes the plugins many engineers reach for first: clean, precise, low on CPU and easy to read. The Essentials Bundle gives you the three most people need, Pro-Q 4 (EQ with spectral dynamics, EQ Sketch and an instance list), Pro-C 3 (compressor) and Pro-R 2 (reverb). The Total Bundle adds the rest of the range: Pro-L 2, Pro-MB, Pro-DS, Pro-G, Saturn 2, Timeless 3, Volcano 3, Twin 3, Simplon and Micro. Read our Pro-Q 4 page for the EQ that anchors both.
Weaknesses: FabFilter is transparent by design. If you want analog colour and vibe, Soundtoys or Waves will give you more of it. Total's extras, such as Twin 3 and Volcano 3, matter less to most mix engineers than the Pro series.
Price: Essentials is $419 at Plugin Boutique, and Total is $1,069 at Plugin Boutique. Price-timing note: FabFilter discounts are modest. Last November Plugin Boutique took about 24 percent off the range, not the 50 percent or more you see elsewhere. More on our FabFilter Black Friday page.
4. Soundtoys 5.5: best for character and creative effects
Soundtoys 5.5 includes every Soundtoys plugin: Decapitator, EchoBoy, EchoBoy Jr., SuperPlate, LittlePlate, PrimalTap, Little AlterBoy, Crystallizer, Devil-Loc Deluxe, Radiator, MicroShift, Tremolator, Sie-Q, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, PanMan, SpaceBlender and the rest, plus Effect Rack to chain them in one window. Where FabFilter is precise, Soundtoys adds colour: saturation, tape-style delay, modulation and grit. Decapitator on its own is one of Plugin Boutique's best-selling effects.
Weaknesses: there is no EQ suite, limiter or mastering chain beyond Sie-Q, so it complements a mixing bundle rather than replacing one. It is not compatible with ARM-based Windows machines, and you need a free iLok account (no dongle). If you only want the essentials, the 14-plugin Soundtoys Effect Rack bundle is $299.
Price: $599 at Plugin Boutique, the same $599 at Best Service. Effect Rack is $299 at Plugin Boutique. See our Soundtoys Black Friday page.
5. iZotope Music Production Suite 9: best for mastering and vocals
MPS 9 bundles 100 plugins around four flagships: Ozone 12 Advanced for mastering, with new Bass Control, Unlimiter and Stem EQ modules; Neutron 5 for mixing; Nectar 4 for vocals; and RX 12 Standard for repair and cleanup. It adds Tonal Balance Control 3, Guitar Rig 7 Pro, the Catalyst series (FXEQ, Velvet, Aurora, Cascadia and Plasma) and a set of Native Instruments effects. Our Ozone 12 Advanced page has the mastering detail.
Weaknesses: it is the most "assistant"-driven bundle here. If you prefer to make every decision yourself, you will pay for features you switch off. Ozone and RX are heavy on CPU at high quality settings. iZotope now belongs to Boris FX, which bought it in July 2026, so long-term update plans are worth watching.
Price: $799 at Plugin Boutique, also $799 at Best Service. Upgrade and crossgrade options exist if you own earlier iZotope products. See our iZotope Black Friday page.
6. Waves Platinum: best value right now
Platinum is 67 plugins: everything in Waves Gold plus 22 more, including the full Renaissance series (R-Vox, Renaissance Compressor and EQ), the L2 and L3 limiters, the C4 multiband compressor, the PuigTec EQs, Smack Attack, MaxxBass, H-Delay, Doubler and the linear-phase tools. These are tools that have been on records for decades, and many tutorials still assume you have them.
Weaknesses: many of these designs are old, the interfaces vary in quality, and there is a lot of overlap: several compressors and EQs do similar jobs. It suits someone building a first toolkit better than someone who already owns modern mixing plugins.
Price: $199 at Plugin Boutique until 1 November, 90 percent off its $1,999 list price. That is already a Black Friday-level price, and it ends four weeks before Black Friday. See our Waves Black Friday page.
7. IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 MAX: best for guitarists
Total Studio 5 MAX bundles more than 140 IK titles, including 72 plug-ins: SampleTank 4 with all its expansions, Miroslav Philharmonik 2, Pianoverse, MODO BASS 2, MODO DRUM, Hammond B-3X, AmpliTube 5 with its brand and artist collections, the full version of TONEX with nine Signature Collections, T-RackS 6 and ARC 4 room correction. For a guitarist who also produces, nothing else here covers amps, cabs and pedals this thoroughly.
Weaknesses: the instrument side is broad rather than best-in-class, and the mixing tools are not the reason to buy it. Plan for a large install and IK's own authorisation system.
Price: $599.99 at Plugin Boutique. See our IK Multimedia Black Friday page.

Which bundle should you buy?
If you are starting a studio from scratch, Komplete 26 Standard gives you the most instruments and usable effects for the money. Add Waves Platinum while it is $199 and you have a complete toolkit for under $750.
If you make synth-led music, V Collection 11 Pro is the bundle to wait for. Last year's $399 Black Friday price is a big gap from today's $699.
If you mix for other people, FabFilter Essentials covers EQ, compression and reverb at a professional standard. Add Soundtoys 5.5 if you want colour, or MPS 9 if you also master and clean up audio.
If you only do one thing, do not buy a bundle. A single plugin like Pro-Q 4, Decapitator or Ozone 12 Standard will serve you better than 60 plugins you never learn.
If you play guitar, Total Studio 5 MAX is the only bundle here built around amps and pedals.
Who should skip a bundle this Black Friday
If you already own an older version of any of these, check the upgrade price before buying the full bundle: Komplete, V Collection and MPS all have cheaper upgrade paths. And if your DAW's stock plugins still cover what you do, a bundle is a want rather than a need. Buy one tool you will learn properly instead.
