Pad Works DAMP is a dynamic resonance suppressor for macOS, released in September 2026, aimed at the problems a good take still leaves behind: the box around a vocal, the ring on a snare, the boom in an acoustic guitar. It listens while the track plays and pulls a resonance down only while it rings, so the rest of the tone stays intact, unlike a static EQ cut that is always on.
The design keeps the surface small. The spectrum splits into three zones, LOW, MID and HIGH, with movable edges, and a single DE-HARSH knob with SOFT and HARD modes does most of the work. A DELTA button plays only what is being removed, with a HOLD option so you can adjust while listening, and an advanced view adds attack, release, ratio, a detector, mid/side routing and Transient Guard. It runs as a VST3 and AU on macOS 10.13.4 or later, as a universal binary, and it is Apple-notarized.
