Animation Station Pro is Sample Logic's plugin host and animator, built with Pitch Innovations. It loads your VST3 and AU instruments and effects, then drives them with a MIDI sequencer/arpeggiator and a separate FX Animation engine. A Channel Preset stores the instrument, the effects chain, the MIDI pattern, and the FX motion as one recallable patch.
It works best as a portable mini-session. Logic users can finally run VST-only titles, and live players can switch entire animated setups from the standalone app. The 900+ MIDI and FX presets, Breaking Borders by Ben Aylon among them, give both engines a starting vocabulary.
The trade-off is simple: there's no factory instrument inside the host, so you bring the sounds. Digital Performer isn't supported. If you only need chords, this is the wrong tool.
Compared with Scaler 3, InstaChord 2, and Cthulhu, Animation Station Pro is the only one that hosts third-party instruments and effects and animates both.
