Temecula DSP NIBBI is a free sampler plugin, released in October 2026, that rebuilds the CHOMPI hardware's TAPE engine inside the DAW. After the CHOMPI firmware was open-sourced, Temecula DSP ported the engine most players loved, the way it records, pitches and degrades a sound, into a seven-voice plugin you can automate and recall.
