Corona 7 is discoDSP's hybrid virtual analog and wavetable synthesizer: three VA/WAVE oscillators with 16 combine modes, dual zero-delay feedback filters with 14 types, JP-8080-modeled Super Saw unison, a 32-step arpeggiator, and a deep modulation matrix. Version 7 adds full MPE, a Sequencer mode with MIDI export, Synth1 (.sy1) and Roland JP-8000/8080 SysEx patch import, a Super 7+ unison mode, and up to 8x oversampling.
Verified 24 August 2026: €149 for new buyers and a free upgrade for all Corona 6 owners, released 20 August 2026. Runs as VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+ (Apple Silicon native), and Linux Debian 10+. It sits between the visual wavetable editors of Serum 2 and Vital, leading instead on analog character and legacy patch import.
