Dirtywave M8 Music Tracker is the full M8 tracker engine released as an iPhone and iPad app in September 2026. It runs the same eight-track sequencer, five synthesis engines (Wavsynth, Macrosynth, FMSynth, Hypersynth, and Sampler), and up to 128 instruments per song found on the M8 hardware, for a one-time $29.99.
The app adds AUv3 plugin support with multi-channel and multi-instance capability, Ableton Link, two-way CoreMIDI, Inter-App Audio, external keyboard and game controller input, and Launchpad Pro MKIII support. Projects, samples, themes, and renders are reachable through the iOS Files app, and songs and bundles transfer both ways with the M8 Tracker Model:02 hardware.
