Start a short bass phrase on Dubspot VintageSub. Mix its two oscillators and sub, work the filter, and bring in Multidrive when the part needs more bite. VintageSub is $19 for Black Friday, regularly $79.

Let the phrasing do some of the work

Try playing two notes separately, then overlap them with Glide. The monophonic voice gives you a different transition without changing the patch. For a repeating line, latch the host-synced arpeggiator and adjust the oscillator balance against the rest of the track.

Analog adjusts drift, component variation and envelope-shaped hiss. Unit changes which set of component variations you're playing. Start with a sustained note to hear the difference. There are 32 factory presets and another 32 slots for your versions.

VintageSub runs on macOS 11 or later in AU, VST3 and AAX Native on Intel and Apple Silicon. Windows is coming soon. A fully functional 14-day trial is available, and a perpetual desktop licence covers three computers with offline use after activation.
