SM-1 SemiModular plays as soon as it receives notes. Load a short sequence and get a sound you like before you connect a cable. Our new macOS synthesizer is $19 for Black Friday, regularly $99.
Change one connection
Patch a modulation source into a destination, then change its amount and polarity while the phrase repeats. It's easier to hear what the cable contributes when the notes stay put. The MK1 and MK2 modules give you different ways to build the voice.
The arpeggiator and sequencer keep a phrase running while you play with the sound. Try routing the delay and spring reverb, or use Grains to freeze a texture and place it alongside the original part. Saving the patch preserves the module choices, cables and effects routing.
Try the instrument
SM-1 requires macOS 12 or later and a compatible host. The Intel and Apple Silicon installer includes AU, VST3 and AAX Native. Windows is coming soon.
You can try the full instrument for 14 days. The perpetual desktop licence covers three computers with offline use after activation. Try or buy SM-1 for $19. It's also one of the two instruments in the $39 Dubspot Analog Bundle.
