Dubspot EQP1 is $19 for Black Friday, down from $79. Try it on a kick: boost the low band until you hear the weight you want, then bring up attenuation on the same band. Listen to the body of the kick as well as the bottom octave.
Shape the curve, then set the color
The low selector offers 20, 30, 60 and 100 Hz. High boost has seven positions from 3 to 16 kHz and a bandwidth control. High attenuation has its own selector, so you can lift one part of the top end and soften another.
Open Advanced for Color, compensated Drive, Recovery, and optional noise or hum. The color stage works even when the EQ sits flat. For a useful comparison, match the output by ear and flip EQ In to hear the same color with and without your curves. Power bypasses the whole processor.
Try it in your session
EQP1 runs on macOS 11 or later in AU, VST3 and AAX Native, on Intel or Apple Silicon. A compatible host is required. Windows is coming soon.
The fully functional trial lasts 14 days. One perpetual desktop licence covers three computers, all included formats and released 1.x updates. It works offline after activation through your Dubspot account.
