The Dubspot verdict

The Dubspot verdict

Twenty-four rare synths, every key sampled, with modelled filters and about 600 presets in Kontakt Player. Intro price is $175 through 6 October 2026.

Best for Kontakt producers who want rare string machines, organs, vocal synths, and odd analogue boxes, sampled on every key.

Pros

  • 24 instruments, including six new to Attic 3, sampled on every key
  • About 600 presets, custom IR reverb, and modelled filters and envelopes
  • Runs in free Kontakt Player 7.10 or later, or Kontakt 8, with NKS
  • Attic 2 upgrade is $79 or €79

Cons

  • About 24 GB, and Kontakt is required
  • Samples plus models, not a fully programmable synth engine
  • Obscure machines, so it will not replace a general classic-synth bundle
