Voicemax is Karanyi Sounds' vocal tuning and harmony plugin. It pulls a lead vocal to the key and scale you choose in real time, with Tune Amount, Retune and Smoothing controls that range from natural correction to the hard-tuned pop sound. Up to four harmony voices sing alongside it, either in key or at fixed intervals, and Brigade turns them into a group of up to 32 singers. Two piano-roll editors and a Harmony Builder let you rewrite the lead and the chords, then export them as MIDI.
It costs €59 at launch (regular €79) direct from Karanyi Sounds, as VST3, AU and AAX on macOS and Windows.
Waves Tune Real-Time and Topline Vocal Tune are the established real-time tuners at a similar price, without the harmony and editing features. Read our Voicemax first look for the full comparison.
