Upgrade pricing for Collection 5 owners is aggressive relative to buying TRINITY and PS-3300 alone.
The trade-offs are bulk and focus. Disk use and decision fatigue grow with every title. Analog Lab V or Komplete may cover broader modern needs if you do not care about Korg-specific history. Pigments remains a better single modern hybrid synth than any one Collection title for open-ended design.
