ReStem 2 is WaveMachine Labs' drum-specialist stem separator. It takes one stereo drum recording and splits it into seven stems — kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, ride, crash, and an "other" catch-all — entirely on your machine, with nothing uploaded to the cloud. Each stem gets its own gate, dynamics, and transient tools; the Pro edition adds a Drumagog-powered Drum Replacer and per-stem MIDI output.

Unlike full-song separators such as RX 11 and SpectraLayers, ReStem 2 splits drums into individual drums rather than a mix into vocals and instruments.
