ResoPlate is the first paid plugin from Reso Audio, the commercial name behind the free Sympiano piano. It is a plate reverb that models four independent metal plates from physics in real time rather than replaying impulse responses, so each plate behaves like a struck sheet of metal that retunes when you change its material or size.
Up to four modal plates run at once, drawn from six metals, and the reverb can be played by MIDI or driven by a sidechain envelope follower so the tail moves in time with the track. It runs as AU, VST3, or standalone. For the full breakdown, see the ResoPlate first look.
