Abyss II is Dawesome's colour-engine cinematic instrument. You place tone colours on a gradient, drop samples onto that bar to extract spectral colours, and build custom palettes from files or folders. It ships with 400+ presets (200+ new, 200+ upgraded from Abyss 1), four FX slots with 20 modules, a poly-rhythmic sequencer, BRUTE / VELVET / SYNTIFY tone macros, Wave Drag-Out, full MPE, and v1 preset import.
Verified 21 August 2026: $89 intro / $149 regular at the Tracktion store, with the Abyss 1 upgrade at $45 intro / $75 regular. 90-day unlimited trial. AU, VST3, and AAX on macOS 10.13+ (Intel and Apple Silicon); VST3 and AAX on Windows 10/11 64-bit. Available 20 August 2026. We have not scored it.
