A careful tune-up of a strong desktop interface, with optimized DiscretePRO preamps and upgraded Bluetooth on top of class-leading connectivity. One of the most complete one-box studio hubs, as long as you do not need onboard DSP.

Ideal para Producers and engineers building a hybrid studio around a single, do-everything desktop interface.

Pros

  • Four optimized DiscretePRO preamps with up to 78 dB gain
  • 18x20 I/O with 8-channel ADAT, S/PDIF or Word Clock, and MIDI
  • Upgraded Bluetooth with AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency
  • Built-in phono preamp, talkback mic, dual headphone outs, and USB hub
  • Ships with the AudioFuse Creative Suite of 11 Arturia plugins

Cons

  • No onboard DSP, unlike a UA Apollo at a similar price
  • A serious investment for a desktop unit at 999 EUR
  • Rev2 is a refinement, so current owners gain little by upgrading

Field notes

Visão geral

The Arturia AudioFuse Studio Rev2 is the refreshed version of Arturia's flagship desktop interface, announced in 2026. It keeps the 18x20 USB-C design and metal chassis while optimizing the four DiscretePRO preamps for lower distortion and adding an upgraded Bluetooth module.

It is built to sit at the center of a hybrid studio. Eight analog inputs (with inputs five and six switchable to a built-in phono preamp), four line outputs plus two aux and reamp outputs, speaker A/B switching, two independent headphone outputs, a talkback mic, 8-channel ADAT, S/PDIF or Word Clock, MIDI, and a three-port USB hub cover almost any session. Conversion runs to 24-bit, 192 kHz, with a very low -129 dBu equivalent input noise and up to 78 dB of gain.

At 999 EUR it includes the AudioFuse Creative Suite of 11 Arturia plugins. Its main rival is a Universal Audio Apollo: pick the AudioFuse Studio for raw connectivity and wireless, and the Apollo if you need onboard DSP for tracking through plugins.

Quick reference

Perguntas frequentes

What is new in the AudioFuse Studio Rev2?

Rev2 optimizes the four DiscretePRO preamps for lower distortion and adds an upgraded Bluetooth module with AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency. The connectivity and conversion carry over from the original.

Does the AudioFuse Studio Rev2 have onboard DSP?

No. Unlike a Universal Audio Apollo, it relies on your computer for processing, which keeps routing flexible but means no near-zero-latency plugin tracking.

Is it worth upgrading from the original AudioFuse Studio?

For most owners, no. Rev2 is a refinement with cleaner preamps and better wireless, not a new feature set. It is most compelling for new buyers.
