Suno Studio 2.0 is Suno's browser generative DAW for Premier subscribers. The August 13, 2026 rewrite adds MIDI on the timeline, a factory wavetable synth, a beta chat bar, real-time factory effects, chat-built plugins, automation, advanced stem split, and uncapped 32-bit/48kHz multitrack export.
It is the first Studio version that can hold notes, not only audio. MIDI clips can also prompt new generations. Effects are in-house only: compressor with sidechain, EQ, reverb, convolution, delay, distortion, and gate. Custom plugins are designed in chat and saved to your library. VST and Audio Units are not supported.
Studio is not a separate product. It is included in Premier at $24/month on annual billing ($288/year) or $30/month billed monthly. Pro and Free do not include it. Regular song downloads cap on September 3, 2026 (60/month on Premier); Studio exports stay unlimited.
Chrome is the recommended client. Web MIDI does not run in Safari. Phones are not supported. Official help lists a 768px minimum width, a SIMD CPU (SSE4.1 or Neon), and at least 4 GB of RAM.
Choose Studio 2.0 if you already live in Suno and want MIDI, stems, and an uncapped bounce without leaving the browser. Choose a conventional DAW if you need third-party plugins, offline work, or a mix you will actually release. Read the first look.
