VinylSynth is DAWJunkie's vinyl-sampled virtual instrument. Over 36 samples recorded from actual vinyl sit at the center of the sound engine, with six one-shot sources, a synth oscillator (eight waveforms), a dedicated crackle layer, a five-type filter, three-band EQ, unison, and five effects. One hundred factory presets ship with it.
It excels at dusty keys, pads, and leads that already sound handled. The crackle layer has its own brightness and volume, so the dirt is a part you can ride instead of a global effect. The intro price is $14.95 against a $49 regular price, and the shop will refund the purchase.
The trade-off is size. Thirty-six vinyl sources and 100 presets are a weekend library, not a desert-island catalog. At the regular $49, that same library is a steeper ask.
Compared with Analog Lab V, VinylSynth is the cheap, vinyl-first instrument. Analog Lab is the large modeled vintage-key library.
