Heavyocity Psychosis is a horror and thriller scoring library released on 20 October 2026. It gathers 720 unique sources built from real instruments, koto, sarangi, rubab, music boxes, toy pianos, thunder sheet, gongs and resonating metals, recorded at Heavyocity's studios and then performed by over-bowing, scraping, stretching and bending to pull tension out of organic material.
The library is organised for scoring: 324 jumpscares and stings, 144 tempo-synced atonal rhythms, 120 sustains and textures, 72 transitions, 36 tonal pedals and 24 key and pluck instruments. Two engines drive it. The Psychosis Designer layers three channels of sources with a MACRO knob, per-channel Envelope, Tone, Drive, Motion and Space FX, and an advanced mixer with Drift and Scatter. The Psychosis Menu maps individual sounds across the keyboard with per-source filter, EQ, pan and tuning. There are 332 presets plus 35 Cue Creators, and the whole 6.94 GB library runs in the free Kontakt Player 7.10.9 or later.
Psychosis is 329 dollars as an intro price, 399 regular, with a 279 dollar crossgrade for owners of Damage 2, Symphonic Destruction, Gravity or Gravity 2. For cinematic percussion and impacts it pairs with Damage 2; both run on the Kontakt engine. See the full Psychosis first look.
