The Polyend Tracker+ is a standalone hardware tracker and sampler, the flagship of a family that also includes the original Tracker and the pocket-sized Tracker Mini. It sequences music on a vertical tracker grid rather than a horizontal timeline, pairing that fast, hands-on workflow with 16 tracks, stereo sampling, and a large display.
In November 2026 Polyend shipped Tracker Community Edition 1.0, which publishes the firmware source on GitHub and turns the Tracker into an open platform. The update adds long-sample streaming from microSD, reworked step recording, six Sample Editor plugins, and, on the Tracker+ and Tracker Mini, two new synth engines called CHIP and DIRT plus a synth SDK for building more. A built-in recovery system lowers the risk of flashing community builds.
Among standalone sampler-sequencers it sits against the Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II and hardware beat boxes like the Behringer RD-765. Read the full breakdown of the open-source update in our Polyend Tracker Community Edition first look.
