Fingerlab BloopMachine is a free acid bassline synth-sequencer for iOS and macOS, released on 29 October 2026. Fingerlab, the studio behind DM1 and Mynth, describes it as a TB-303 pushed well past the edge, and the design backs that up: a compact synth voice wired to a sequencer built for movement, squelch and happy accidents.
The sound engine pairs a wavetable oscillator with a resonant filter, the combination that gives acid its rubbery, screaming character. Driving it is a deep step sequencer that can automate every parameter and lean generative, so a single pattern keeps evolving rather than looping flat. The full version carries 48 patterns, a Song mode for arranging them, the complete FX section and preset management.
Because it supports AUv3, BloopMachine loads straight into mobile and desktop hosts like GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM and Cubasis, or runs on its own. It is free to download and usable before paying, with one in-app purchase unlocking the full feature set. For desktop 303 work it sits alongside Arturia Acid V and TAL-BassLine-101.
