SPRITZ is Carbonated Audio's beat flip multi-effect. Every module follows a curve you draw over the loop: a ramp on Time is a tape stop, steps are stutters, a dip on Volume under each kick is sidechain. There are 11 modules (Time, Volume, Filter, Drive, Pitch, Reverb, Pan, Width, Crush, Liquid and Noise), and you can chain up to eight, duplicates included, in any order. Each module has its own envelope follower, its own Sync, MIDI or Audio trigger, and up to four crossover bands with a curve per band.
The feature that sets it apart is Scenes. Each preset stores up to eight versions (A to H) with their own curves, switched from pads, MIDI notes or an AUTO sequence that steps every one, two or four bars and lands on the beat. With 912 factory presets across 18 categories, it leans hard into live flips, half-time, stutters, tape stops and builds. Latency is a constant 22 ms plus 128 samples, reported to the host.
At $49 it costs about half of ShaperBox 3, which shares the same eleven effect types and adds Windows AAX and PitchShaper's algorithms. Effectrix 2 is the step-sequenced alternative with 14 effects and 12 switchable setups. The same developer's On Tap covers plain sidechain ducking for $20.
