Monday, June 21st starting at 8pm, Dubspot will launch a radio show and podcast series, with live-streaming on Ustream and later released episodically as a weekly podcast. We already have some incredible guests lined-up for the next few weeks.
To kick things off proper, we will have multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, DJ, and Dubspot instructor Raz Mesinai, along with the founder of Dub War, New York City’s premier dubstep party, resident DJ Dave Q. Expect about an hour long mix from either one or both soundmen (we might even have a performance, expect the unexpected with Raz — possibilities are limitless.)
After the mix, my co-producer and pilot Matt Shadetek will interview Dave and Raz — talk about a wide variety of things, ranging from their individual creative process, producing and deejaying, on collaborating and forming their new label The Index, on their background and other current and future projects — composing music for film, new releases on The Index, touring, parties, and more.
