Over the weekend of November 7th and 8th, Dubspot will hit L.A. for another stop of its Ableton Live 8 Tour, featuring an absolutely stellar lineup of producers, DJs, composers, programmers, and educators.

Dubspot’s own Jon Margulies (Heatercore, Hobotech, Author of the Ableton Live 7 & 8 Power! books) will be our moderator the whole weekend, in addition to presenting.
This select group will be presenting a wide variety of production and performance strategies based upon their own first hand experience with the issues, ideas, and techniques that directly affect, are used by, musicians today. Topics will include drum-programming, instrument and effect rack management, sequencing, automation, creating melody, harmonic awareness, mixing and mastering principles, sound stage management, synth programming, PA/DJ hybrid setups, controllers, live instruments in Ableton, efficient set management, looping, routing, licensing, and much more.
All is centered around Ableton Live 8, the most powerful music software on the planet. This one-of-a-kind series of events represents everything that is revolutionary about the Dubspot experience, and the future of music education. Anyone, of any skill level, is welcomed to attend and take part in these special weekends of education, Ableton, community, and music.
