Dubspot recently announced a brand new course with composer, educator, and electronic music guru Raz Mesinai. To get you prepared for the course, Advanced Music Production and Performance Concepts, we launched a three-part video tutorial with Raz Mesinai dubbed Soundboy Death Ray.
In the series, Raz explores unorthodox music production and performance techniques with Ableton Live. In the concluding chapter, Raz adds some percussive elements and effects and shows off the performance possibilities of the Soundboy Death Ray. In case you’ve missed the previous tutorials in the series, check out part one and part two.
Raz Mesinai (a.k.a. Badawi) will teach you advanced concepts and a unique approach to producing and performing with an entirely original sonic palette. This program will expand your production and composition skills with advanced recording, sampling, and effects processing techniques. You’ll explore new workflows and discover new ways to perform your music.
“Raz’s attention to sophisticated rhythms, sounds, low end, and performance methods has had a big impact on all of us, and it’s been great being part of a community united by Raz’s approach to music.” – Nick L
Start date for Advanced Music Production and Performance Concepts with Raz Mesinai:
January 12, 2014 in NYC – Sundays, 4:15pm–7:00pm
