Artist Profile w/ AGF – Sampling the Human Voice, Sound Design +

Early this Summer, we got a chance to sit down with renowned experimental electronic musician AGF. She demonstrated her interesting live setup as well as gave some insight into her creative philosophy.

Antye Greie-Ripatti, better known as AGF, is a renowned digital musician, vocalist, sound artist and poet. In this hands-on workshop, AGF explained and demonstrated her unique live performance setup incorporating Max/MSP, Radial, an iPad, a Kaoss Pad and more. Attendees participated in creating an improvised piece of music with her. AGF went into detail about her creative process, the importance of language in her work and what it means to be a “Poem Producer.”
