Tutorial: Performing Live w/ Visuals Using VDMX + Akai APC 40 MIDI Controller

In this video tutorial, Dubspot course designers Benton-C Bainbridge and V Owen Bush take us inside Vidvox’s VDMX software–the application at the center of our new Visual Performance Program–and offer a glimpse at some of the concepts and techniques that will be explored in the course.

In this Visual Performance tutorial, Dubspot course designer Benton-C Bainbridge of Glowing Pictures offers tips and techniques for performing live visuals with Vidvox’s powerful VDMX software. The goal is to utilize a MIDI controller to play VDMX as an instrument and back away from the computer screen and keyboard.
