In this video tutorial, Dubspot course designers Benton-C Bainbridge and V Owen Bush take us inside Vidvox’s VDMX software–the application at the center of our new Visual Performance Program–and offer a glimpse at some of the concepts and techniques that will be explored in the course.
In our very first visual performance video tutorial, Dubspot instructors and course designers Benton-C Bainbridge and V Owen Bush introduce the VDMX software interface and some of the concepts and ideas they’ll explore in Dubspot’s new Visual Performance program. They explain how to configure VDMX and navigate the basic playback parameters using the Simple Player template, which allows you to immediately start loading media clips and jamming with them. They also look at how to manipulate media clips using looping, effects, layering, animation and more. You can download the archive of clips used in the video here.
