ShareOur friends at Native Instruments helped us produce a special event at the school recently; the house music phenoms, The Martinez Brothers, came through and talked DJing with our students and friends.
The workshops saw them share their musical background, from their their beginnings in the business to how they developed their sound by studying the classics of old and new, plus their strategies for using the most cutting edge software and hardware on the market to enhance and fulfill their creative vision.
While DJing, they use Traktor as the heart of their sets, plus Pioneer CDJs and mixer with a Faderfox controller for extra control. Their unique familial connection, as well as the functionality contained in Traktor, serves them well when they perform.
