Your DJ Name: Tommy Tench
How was your experience? I originally came to Dubspot from Columbus, Ohio to learn DJing and music production for the Summer. When I arrived, I had very little musical knowledge (or any kind of experience applying that knowledge), so I did my best to take in as much as possible and practice as often as I could. I enrolled and completed all 6 levels of Djing, 4 levels of Ableton Live, 2 levels of Turntablism, a weekend workshop with Machine, as well as a few free workshops here and there. Needless to say, I ended up having such a great experience that I decided to stay in New York to continue my music education with the more advanced versions of classes I took over the summer. I am now living in Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy, represent) and continue to take classes at Dubspot. My time at Dubspot has been invaluable to me as a student, and my musical abilities have grown exponentially as a result.
