Just after a few minutes after 1 AM this morning, Serato and Ableton announced that new “Scratch Live 2.1.1 featuring The Bridge has entered public beta” via their respective Twitter accounts (SeratoHQ and ableton.)
The public beta version of The Bridge is open to owners of Live or Suite 8 and Scratch Live. You’ll need to create forum accounts at both Serato and Ableton, and the latest beta versions of Live/Suite 8 and Serato Scratch Live.
The partnership between Ableton and Serato was announced in October 2008. Earlier this year, The Bridge closes gap between music production and DJing, creating a natural link between Ableton Live and Serato Scratch Live or ITCH. It Bridge provides a powerful fusion of DJ and production tools, opening a world of opportunities for DJing, remixing and live performance.
Thanks to Peter Kirn/Create Digital Music for the heads up!
