Dubspot Mixing & Mastering course designer Daniel Wyatt is back with a brand-new video tutorial series, Mix / Master. In this series, Wyatt will be sharing tips and techniques for improving and enhancing the quality of your final mixes. The goal is to help you get that finished and professional sound in your productions.
In this first installment of Mix / Master, “Upsampling for Double-Precision,” Daniel Wyatt show how to get better-quality internal audio rendering in Logic and make sure the elements and effects in your tracks sound as clear as possible. This can be achieved by simply changing the internal sample rate and working at a higher resolution: switching from 44.1 kHz to 88.2 kHz simply gives you better-sounding audio throughput at every stage of the signal chain.
Stay tuned for more useful mixing and mastering tips from Daniel Wyatt in this series.
