If you’re in Los Angeles, Southern California, Wednesday night just got a little more ill. Tomorrow night, like every Wednesday night, wicked sound-men like Gaslamp Killer, Daddy Kev, Nobody, D-Styles, Nocando descend upon the City of Angels –for something called Low End Theory at a place called the Airliner. Tomorrow, June 9th commencing at 9PM GLK & Daddy Kev along with J*DaVeY and Mr. Invisible will do special demonstrations/performances on Native Instruments Maschine 1.5 as part of NI’s Maschine Workshop Tour USA. Native Instruments expert Josh Fielstra will also be there to give brief tutorials, talk about major updates and changes in Maschine 1.5. After Los Angeles, next stops on the Maschine Workshop Tour include Chicago on June 15th, NYC at Dubspot on June 17th, and Atlanta on June 22nd – with a host of top-notch producers and performers including Arabian Prince, LORN, Needlz, Tommy Faulds, etc.
On the NYC stop at Dubspot, LORN –young producer whose excellent debut album NOTHING ELSE dropped this week on Brainfeeder stops by with Native Instruments specialist Josh Fielstra for a performance/workshop. And if you haven’t haven’t already, we recommend checking out this week’s Low End Theory podcast with Gaslamp Killer and LORN.
