Check out this video of Chris Alfaro, aka Free The Robots, talking about producing and performing with Ableton Live. Alfaro grew up making beats on the MPC (producing tracks for MCs and DJing) and he now uses Akai MPD32 controller to trigger beats and sounds for his genre-defying Free The Robots project. Alfaro explains why Ableton Live feels natural, a logical step, in line with the skills and familiarity one develops using the MPC. He also talks about the ease of the workflow with Live, and how it allows you work more instinctively. The video was shot by the brilliant Greg Ponstingl.
