Dubspot Presents: Amadeus – Creating Music for Film and Television, Oct. 30, 2013

On Wednesday October 30th, 2013, Dubspot will host a special workshop with multi-platinum hip hop producer Amadeus, who will demonstrate how he created  ESPN’s First Take theme song ”Every Word Great” featuring Maybach Music Group artists Wale and Stalley using Akai MPC 2000XL.


Amadeus is a producer and songwriter hailing from The Bronx, NYC. He’s worked an incredible array of artists ranging from 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Cam’ron, and Jim Jones to Wale, Talib Kweli, Trey Songz, and Danity Kane. He is a member of P. Diddy’s Hitmen production team.

In this workshop, Amadeus will demonstrate and talk about how  he created  the theme song for ESPN’s First Take, “Every Word Great” which features Maybach Music Group recording artists Wale and Stalley. Amadeus will be using Akai MPC 2000XL. We will also talk with ESPN music directors about the process of placing music for television. Dubspot is proud to host this event on the famed Funktion One sound system residing at New York’s Cielo nightclub.
