Production 101 Workshop with Thavius Beck returns Los Angeles’ Downtown Independent on October 12th! Thavius Beck just returned from a successful Live Beat Series tour around Europe (check out the track he made between destinations! Pretty awesome, actually!)
I (Ableton certified trainer and Dubspot instructor) Thavius Beck will be hosting a 2 hour Ableton Live workshop starting at 7pm going over various techniques for production, live performance, and sound manipulation using Ableton Live, as well as the best ways to get the most out of your midi controllers to take full advantage of the software. As always, if people have suggestion for specific things they would like to learn, feel free to leave a comment on this page and I will do my best to address each question during the workshop.
Then from 9 to 10pm, our resident DJ HERU will be manning the decks spinning some of the hardest music out there… his talents have been recognized by some of the most respected people in LA and beyond, and his reputation for hard hitting and heavy mixes is growing exponentially…
Then from 10pm to Midnight, I am very pleased to announce that we will have performances by:

and our very own
OICHO who will be debuting his live audio/visual set for the very first time anywhere!!
This will be a night to remember… as always live visuals for the night will be provided by OICHO video on the movie theatre screen inside the Downtown Independent, and the entire night is FREE and open to the public! Come and celebrate my return to LA with some free knowledge and incredible live music!
