Dubspot instructor Dan Freeman (a.k.a. Com1x) will venture to Mexico City this Saturday to take part in a clinic on music production, sound design and live performance at a special event held together with Konfort Records and the Ableton Live Usergroup Mexico City.
Freeman is an Ableton Live Certified Instructor focusing on electronic music production and history at Dubspot. He has given numerous clinics at major universities and music festivals including Harvard, the University of Caldas, The Together Festival and The In/Out Festival. A bassist and producer, he is originally from Brooklyn, NY, and has performed with renowned artists like Peter Gabriel, Angelique Kidjo, The B-52s and The Harlem Gospel Choir, among others. His project “C0″ was chosen by Ableton Inc. for a demonstration at their North American offices for his innovative use of Live in performance.
This event will bring together producers and educators for a night full of clinics and demonstrations about music production, targeting beginners and advanced users alike.
The event will be livestreamed online starting at 3:00pm EST by our hosts, the Centro Cultural España de México.
