Dubspot @ Apple Store SoHo: ‘Making Music w/ Ableton & Reason’

Take your electronic music production skills to the next level Dubspot instructor and Dubstep producer Chris Petti who will be at the Apple Store in SoHo, NYC on Tuesday, December 21st from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, giving a free workshop on Ableton Live and Propellerhead Software Reason & Record. In this up-close and in-depth demo session, Chris will cover the basics of creating original sounds; explaining and demonstrating music creation and production possibilities with two of today’s most effective and widely-used production applications, Ableton Live and Reason. Chris will be covering everything from programming loops, clip editing, and audio sequencing to basic Ableton Live performance principles, applied to production by transferring individual sound elements into a finished product.

The workshop is designed to provide an overview of the production process, and a preview of the various avenues of education that can be explored at our school. Anyone interested in further discussion should stick around following the session and talk with Chris, or any of the Dubspot crew members.
