‘Bids Build Hope’ :: NextAid’s Online Auction is Live!

There are few organizations in the world that serve a more noble cause than NextAid. Their dedicated team work around the clock to raise awareness and funds to help those less fortunate, specifically, African children in need – victims of circumstance, who were born into the AIDs crisis.

Starting today, their Bids Build Hope online auction will be raising money for their cause. You can find a wide variety of fantastic items to bid on, from dinners at top-notch restaurants, to music production software, to a very special Richie Hawtin gear pack:

“Heavily (but lovingly!) used by the godfather of techno, Richie Hawtin, during his 2008 season.  This package includes: Rimowa Topas Cabin Trolley, (2) Native Instruments Audio 8 DJ interface, Native Instruments Maschine, (2) Allen & Heath Xone 1D Controllers, Roland EV-5 Foot Pedal, Midi Solutions Pedal Controller, Allen & Heath Xone DJ Headphones, international power adapters, brand new Ableton Intro software package and Traktor Pro software package.”

NextAid, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization harnessing the power of music to affect change in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa, launches its third annual online auction today in honor of World AIDS Orphans Day: a grassroots campaign advocating for the 15 million children orphaned by AIDS around the world. The 24-day auction will raise awareness and funds for NextAid’s current projects: the Kawangware Vision Center in Kenya, and the goGogetters program in South Africa. NextAid continues its mission to promote and implement sustainable solutions to the challenges facing African children.  For more information on NextAid, check out their website >> nextaid.org
