Ableton Live Tutorial: Soundboy Death Ray w/ Raz Mesinai Part 2 – MIDI Mapping Macro Controls

Dubspot recently announced a brand new course with composer, educator, and electronic music guru Raz Mesinai. To get you prepared for the course, Advanced Music Production and Performance Concepts, we launched a three-part video tutorial with Raz Mesinai dubbed Soundboy Death Ray. In the series, Raz explores unorthodox music production and performance techniques with Ableton Live. In part one, he shows you how to design a versatile drum rack using Operator. In the second part, Raz delves deep into macro mappings and creates some intriguing effects!

In part two of the Soundboy Death Ray tutorial, we delve into mapping parameters to create a more versatile instrument which, with the right controller, can defeat Soundboy and his minions on virtually any SoundøSystem. Paying attention to the mapping browser is key here! Bye bye SoundBoy. – Raz Mesinai aka THOE
